About Ron Levy
Ron Levy began working with ceramics back in the Seventies
becoming well known in the art world for his oversized ceramic pots.
This work developed his technical, aesthetic and engineering skills
and soon restaurants began calling him to build tandoor
ovens. He's
been building tandoors for over 35 years now and his work is used
by restaurants throughout the US and Canada for over 30 years such
as Dawat, Bukhara Grill, Bombay Club, Jackson Diner, Moby Dick House
of Kabob, Bombay Palace and more. This is a testimony to the quality
and durability of Ron Levy Tandoors.
Ron Levy Tandoors have been featured in publications
such as The New York Times, Food and Wine Magazine and Food Arts
Magazine. Food writers such as Madhur Jaffy and Julie Sahni have
featured Ron Levy Tandoors in their work as well.
